Geographical location



Sultanate of Oman has a very important strategic position, has always been a strong demand in its policies, options and style in dealing with many of the issues and developments. It occupies the south-eastern corner of the Arabian Peninsula, located between longitude 51 ° 50 and 59 ° 40 east, and chambers introduced 16 ° 40 and 26 ° 20 north. Passes south of the Tropic of Cancer by the Muscat Governorate.



Linked to the Oman border with the United Arab Emirates in the north-west, Saudi Arabia and with the West, and with the Republic of Yemen in the south-west.
